What is Electronics?

Electronics is the branch of science that deals and flow of electrons (electricity) around Protons and the study of their behavior and effects in vacuums, conductor, and semiconductors called Electronics.

Voltage

Voltage is the “pressure” of electricity/Electrons, or “electromotive force”. Unit is Volts, Denoted/Symbol is V or U, old symbol was E.  Voltage is also commonly measured in millivolts (mV), and 1,000 mV is 1V.  Microvolts (uV) and nanovolts (nV) are also used. And higher commonly measured in Kilo volts and Mega volts

1000v= 1 KV

1000v= 1 MV

Current

Current is the flow of electricity (electrons) in one second.  No current flows between the terminals of a battery or other voltage supply unless a load is connected. Unit is Ampere (Amps), Symbol is I. current may also be measured in mA (milliamps) – 1,000 mA is 1A.

Types

AC (Alternative Current): It flow both direction.

DC (Direct Current): It flow only one direction. It has positive and Negative.

Frequency

The number of cycle completed in one second that is the frequency.

Unit is Hertz, Symbol/Denoted is Hz/f, old symbol was cps (cycles per second).

Higher Frequency:

1000 Hz = 1 KHz

1000 KHz = 1 MHz

1000 MHz = 1 GHz

Power

The consumptions of electric energy Power according to load, that measurement called Power. Unit is Watt (W) and Symbol/Denoted by P

Ohm’s Law

Ohm’s Law is the mathematical relationship among electric current, resistance, and voltage.

V=Voltage, I= Ampere, R= Resistance
